"About this title" may belong to another edition of this title. No way is this going to be everyone's cup of tea but if you love those charming liarsand don't mind a bit of violence and a lot of perversity, you're going to love this one. Well written, fast paced and keeping me on the edge of my seat, I'd have to say my first Bey Deckard story was a huge win for me. The phrase "down the rabbit hole" crops up along the way and there isn't a better description for what happens to the reader when they open the pages of Max. What a twisted, psychological thrilling roller coaster of a ride Max turned out to be. As Max weaves himself into Crane's life, Crane realizes that while fiction might be safe, Max certainly is not. Charming, manipulative, and amoral, Max has exactly the sort of mind Crane finds himself drawn to with fictional characters. Dennis Crane's life and mind slowly dismantled by Max's premeditated methodology is a thing of beauty. Crane takes on a new patient who both intrigues and unnerves him. It is one heck of a jam-packed exciting ride. Max vs Crane is a tourde force of sensual transgression. A train wreck, roadkill youcan't turn away from. Watching Crane implode under the sheer audacity and allure of Max's pathologies is fascinating. Charming, manipulative, and amoral, Max has exactly the sort of mind Crane finds himself drawn to with fictional characters.
